Cold-Blooded Human Nature

Human Nature Is A Fucked Up Thing,
Corrupted With Addiction And An Inability To Understand.
A World Of Peace Within Life In Ruins,
The Plants And Animals Unable To Thrive And Sing.
Destruction Has Become The Lie Of The Land,
And It’s All From Our Own Doings.

Bigotry And Malice Become The Common-Day,
And It All Roots From A Failure To Take Each-Other’s Hand.
Whether It’s Racism Or Homophobia, We Seem To Take Pleasure In Harm;
But There’s No Reason To When The Children, Victims, Try To Play.
Even Those Who Try In Numbers To Take A Stand
Are Branded Terrorists In This Animal Farm.

Perhaps There’s No Reason To Care Anymore,
We Should Simply Allow Eachother To Die In Vain.
When Those In Power Fail To Listen And Change,
It Becomes Redundant When Society Is A Dog Eat Dog War.
I Think Everyone Knows This And Feels This Same Pain,
And Yet The World Is Full Of Disgust, As Though We All Share Mange.

There’s No Real Way Out, Is There?
The Burden Is Too Strong To Bare.
Our Outcome Looks Like Mutual Assured Destruction;
Mad, I Know, But There’s No Such Thing As Function.
